By accessing or using DeadVault (website, APIs, and browser extension), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Service Description
DeadVault provides non-custodial software tools for creating, encrypting, managing, and storing secret data with blockchain-connected workflows. DeadVault does not take custody of user funds or private keys.
User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for protecting your private keys, passwords, seed phrases, and local devices.
- You are responsible for verifying transaction details before signing and broadcasting.
- You must comply with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- You must not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
Fees and Third-Party Networks
Blockchain transactions may require network fees and may involve third-party infrastructure (for example RPC providers). Such fees and external service terms are outside DeadVault’s control.
No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice
DeadVault is a software tool and does not provide investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice.
No Warranties
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranties are made regarding uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeadVault and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, keys, assets, or business interruption arising from use of the service.
Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
